HELLO THERE!

I created this ​website as a personal platform to keep information on the species I come across in Hong Kong, as well as to fill the void for a freshwater biodiversity database in Hong Kong. Currently, the Species Database is simply a visual guide for freshwater organisms found in Hong Kong. However, I am slowly cataloging each species descriptions, behavior, identification and conservation statuses, with the aim of merging them all with the image database to form a proper scientific database. In the meantime, there are: 21 species in the scientific database.

The images on this site are a mixture of my own, free images from Wix and Google. This website is entirely self-funded and for educative purposes only. Please contact me if you would like to submit photos or remove/accredit any of the existing images. My goal is to eventually replace each placeholder image with my own or contributor's photos!
